The widget draws on elements from recently announced Android's Google Now feature, which learns from a user's search behavior and other related patterns to show not just weather updates, but also calendar appointments, traffic updates and other such information. The mobile versions are restricted to a three or five day forecast based on the screen size of the user's device. The widget, which is similar to the one present on Android and iOS, shows hourly readings of the temperature with wind speed/direction, humidity and precipitation as well. You can also check the weather of any other city by typing its name alongside weather in search box or even check by adding ZIP codes. Download widget weather lite and enjoy it on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Now by typing weather in Google search on your tablet, you'll be greeted by the new weather widget that displays the weather forecast of your current location. For those of you who like to take a weather check before stepping out, Google search for tablets has a rather interesting update.
